《科学、艺术及美学启发的科学》课程融合科学与艺术视角,探讨二者相互启发的美学与逻辑关系。课程内容涵盖梵高画作中的湍流定律、印象派与光生理学、书法中的黄金比例、麦克斯韦方程组的对称美、分形几何、熵与莫奈《干草堆》系列、拓扑与草书、科学启发的艺术创作、光声成像中的对称性破缺、艺术几何学原理及其在医学图像分析中的应用,以及科学理论数学美的量化方法。课程强调跨学科思维,培养从科学角度欣赏和创作艺术、从艺术视角理解和创新科学的能力。

Abstract:
Science, Art, and Aesthetics-Inspired Science is a course that integrates scientific and artistic perspectives to explore the aesthetic and logical relationships through which the two disciplines inspire each other. The course content covers the laws of turbulence in Van Gogh’s paintings, Impressionism and the physiology of light, the golden ratio in calligraphy, the symmetrical beauty of Maxwell’s equations, fractal geometry, entropy and Monet’s Haystacks series, topology and cursive writing, science-inspired artistic creation, symmetry breaking in photoacoustic imaging, the principles of artistic geometry and their application in medical image analysis, as well as methods for quantifying the mathematical beauty of scientific theories. The course emphasizes interdisciplinary thinking, cultivating the ability to appreciate and create art from a scientific perspective, and to understand and innovate science from an artistic point of view.
