Abstract:
Since the Ming Dynasty, Lingnan gradually rose to prominence, its economy and culture became increasingly prosperous, and literary creation gradually became a trend. The collection of poems by Kong Jixun, a local literatus in Lingnan, contains dozens of poems that extensively describe the natural landscapes and humanistic architecture of Lingnan, such as Luofu Mountain, the Pearl River, Yunquan Mountain Pavilion, and the Thirty-Six River Tower. These poems constitute part of the Lingnan poetic tradition of the late Qing Dynasty. At the same time, they also provide valuable literary material for the study of Lingnan’s regional customs and culture. This article takes the landscape as a clue to analyze the geographical world depicted in Kong Jixun's poems, discusses the integration of the objective world and the subjective world within the poems, and examines the unique tendencies and preferences expressed by the poet in his creative work.
