缪煜清，上海理工大学教授、中国化学会高级会员、中国科技新闻学会理事、中国有色金属工业协会稀散金属分会理事、上海市科普作家协会理事、《科学与人文艺术》创刊主编。以“国家需求、人民健康”为理念，创建铋科学研究中心，围绕铋及相关小金属在健康医学领域的应用开展研究。研究化学史、科学史、科技与文明等内容，创刊《科学与人文艺术》、作词学科歌曲《变化之学》，出版《人类文明与化学》《沪江大学化学史》等著作，开设通识课程《人类文明与化学》，开展科学与人文互通、跨学科意识与创新思维等方面的教育。秉承大学服务社区、服务社会的责任感，为大中小学开展相关科普讲座百余场。
