Analysis of the Regulatory Efects of Different Exercise Frequencies on Cardiopulmonary Function and Anxiety in Adolescents

This study aimed to explore the regulatory mechanisms of different exercise frequencies on cardiopulmonary function and anxiety in adolescents. Methods: Based on data from the Institute of Sports Medicine at Beijing Medical University and the Institute of Psychology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the regulatory effects of different exercise frequencies were analyzed. Results: Regular exercise 3–5 times per week significantly improved cardiopulmonary function, with effects stabilizing after exceeding 4 sessions per week. Exercise promoted the release of serotonin and β-endorphins, reduced cortisol levels by 27%, and effectively alleviated anxiety. Conclusion: Scientifically configuring exercise frequency can effectively improve cardiopulmonary function and regulate anxiety in adolescents, and should be individualized.
