Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the application effects of magnet management combined with problem-based learning (PBL) in the training of junior nurses in medical-nursing integration hospitals. Method: A total of 168 junior nurses who were employed at Qianhai Life Nanning Hospital before February 2022 were selected as study subjects. Stratified sampling was conducted based on educational background and years of work experience, and the subjects were divided into a control group (n=84) and an experimental group (n=84). From July 2022 to July 2023, the control group received training using traditional teaching methods, while the experimental group received training using magnet management combined with PBL. After one year of training, the two groups were compared in terms of work competence, critical thinking ability, work stress, occupational burnout, job satisfaction, theoretical examination scores, skills examination scores, and the incidence of nursing adverse events. Result: After training, the experimental group demonstrated significantly higher scores in work competence, critical thinking ability, job satisfaction, theoretical examination scores, and skills examination scores compared to the control group, while work stress scores, occupational burnout scores, and the incidence of nursing adverse events were significantly lower than those of the control group. All differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: The combination of magnet management and PBL proves effective in junior nurse training, and can significantly enhance nursing staff's work competence and professional skill levels, improve occupational psychological well-being, and reduce the risk of nursing adverse events, thereby contributing positively to the improvement of nursing service quality in medical-nursing integration hospitals.
