Chronic heart failure (CHF) is a complex clinical syndrome that imposes a significant health burden on patients. Integrative treatment combining traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Western medicine has shown unique advantages in improving the quality of life and prognosis of CHF patients. This review summarizes the clinical research progress on integrative treatment for CHF, discussing its efficacy and mechanisms. The findings indicate that integrative treatment significantly improves cardiac function, reduces hospitalization and mortality rates, and outperforms conventional Western medicine in symptom management and long-term outcomes.
