Abstract:
With the rapid development of technology, wearable devices have gradually entered people's daily lives, with particularly widespread applications in the field of healthcare. This study aims to explore the innovative applications of wearable devices in the information collection of Traditional Chinese Medicine's (TCM) four diagnostic methods (Inspection, Auscultation-Olfaction, Inquiry, and Palpation). The research adopts experimental and comparative simulation methods, utilizing technologies such as the internet, intelligent hardware, and big data to design and fabricate data collection devices capable of monitoring various physiological parameters, including galvanic skin response, electrocardiogram (ECG), and blood oxygen saturation. The research findings indicate that, compared to traditional methods of four diagnostic information collection, the approach employing wearable devices enables continuous, accurate, and real-time monitoring of physiological information, facilitating the tracking of disease progression and timely adjustment of treatment strategies. This method effectively addresses the limitations of TCM's four diagnostic methods, which are often confined to instantaneous states and are highly subjective. Moreover, this approach not only avoids direct doctor-patient contact but also aligns with the current social context of epidemic prevention. Based on the above research findings, the application of wearable devices in the information collection of TCM's four diagnostic methods is innovative, possesses broad application value, and demonstrates universality, with the potential to enhance the accuracy and convenience of TCM diagnosis and treatment.
